Your cars exhaust system is designed to controls noise and funnel exhaust fumes away from passengers and traffic.

Your exhaust system is more than a pipe that you see at the back of your car. It is a series of pipes joined by a complex set of manifolds, pipes, mufflers, catalytic converters, clamps, mounts, and oxygen sensors.

Your vehicle’s exhaust system is critical to ensure that your vehicle is achieving its proper engine performance, fuel economy, decibel noise levels, and most importantly to ensure that no harmful fumes are entering the passenger area or causing unnecessary damage by causing contaminants to enter the atmosphere.

At Camex Autocare, our technicians can perform repairs and maintenance and below are the areas we can assist:

  • Exhaust System Components
  • Muffler, exhaust pipe and tailpipe
  • Catalytic converters
  • Oxygen sensors
  • EGR valves
  • Exhaust decibel readings
  • Exhaust seals
  • Vacuum hoses
  • DPF maintenance

Exhaust noise from vehicles should not exceed the prescribed exhaust noise levels.  For most light motor vehicles, the exhaust noise limit is 90 decibels and for motorcycles, it is 94 decibels.

If you have noticed your vehicle underperforming, losing power, sounds louder than normal or if you can smell fumes in the cabin, get in touch with our experienced team.
